The Sixer Sense is back up and running! I’m Sean, the new lead editor of this site. I’m a senior (I think, but I’m not sure) accounting major at Temple University in Philadelphia. I’ve previously written about the Sixers at 76 Degrees for around a year, and have moved over here to do better and greater things.
I don’t want this intro to be anything huge – this is more of a “hey, I’m here” type of post. I try to be as active as possible, and in moving here I’ll be posting fairly often, or at least more often than I’ve ever posted before.
Whenever you visit, here’s what to expect:
- No recaps or individual game previews – There are so many places to find recaps (and so many people who do them better than I can) that you won’t find me recapping games. I’ll sometimes post previews for a series of games, but not for any single game.
- Sunday Night Sixers columns – my feature column from the previous site will be carried over here. It will usually be referred to as SNS.
- Player Review Series – breakdowns of each Sixer, a continuation of the series I ran last year. This will start in March.
- Lots of other stuff that will come up over time.
I’m very interested in seeing how this all goes. Previously, I was a one-man show. Here, though, I’m open to new things. Anyone that’s interested in writing about the Sixers and needs a platform to do it can let me know by emailing me: [email protected] Guest posts and features will be welcome here, provided you show that you are knowledgeable and passionate about the team. I’m still working on some parts of the transition, but I sincerely believe this will be a fun time for all. I’m signing off now – you’ll here more from me later today.
