NBA Lockout Vigil: Day 13

I needed this break from the ESPYs, though this Dewey Bozella story is interesting. The show is terrible – I cannot express this enough.

NEWS: The Sixers were sold today. I talked about it here. More links about it can be found within my take.

Blake Griffin won an ESPY for best breakthrough athlete. I’m not complaining, though he could have actually jumped over the whole car and not just the hood. Or a motorhome.

Contract of the Day

Here’s one: the contract for the sale of the Sixers looks to be $280 million for a 90% stake.

Links of the Day

Evan Turner wants barbecue sauce, and he wants it now.

Turner is also working out with Herb Magee, which was previously in question. How long is uncertain.

Lavoy Allen signed with a French team. Good for him.

Twitter Follow of the Day

Follow @snghoops – lead writer for our Suns blog and all-around good guy Andrew Lynch. Also hosts the Rogue DDL. And he also gave me a Google+ invite, with which I set up an account and haven’t used it.

Something to Watch

The World Series of Poker Main Event is broadcasting LIVE tomorrow on ESPN2. Should be cool.
