Thank. God. It’s. Friday. Yeah I went there. It’s a wonderful feeling (for me) to watch a Friday night
game. Not sure why. Sixers played 54 games on Friday. They went 28-26 (.518), a winning record. The longest winning streak they had was 6 games. The most they lost was 4 games 3 times. The opponent they faced the most was a 6 way tie between the Cavaliers, Hawks, Bucks, Knicks, Celtics, and Lakers. All of them, 4 times. Considering that the Sixers only go against the Lakers twice per season, this is actually impressive. In the past 3 seasons, they faced the Lakers 6 times; four on Friday. But they lost each one on Friday. They did face the Lakers two Fridays in a row too.
PPG was 96.6 versus 96.1, a close win. So Friday was a good day for our guys. Friday saw 22% of games played. Besides the Lakers, they did not face an opponent two Fridays in a row.
Alright so that’s it. The series is over. But I may look into more seasons. I’m definitely going to check out the deal with just 7 games on Thursday in the past 3 seasons. It was easy to do this. The only “hard” part was putting the scores together to find the PPG’s.
