Sixers-Bulls Game 4 Preview

The 76ers host the Chicago Bulls for Game 4 at Wells Fargo Center today at 1:00 PM Eastern. Since I’ll be leaving for the game in just a few minutes, my game review will be short and sweet.

The Bulls offense sagged when the two sources of offense they had, Rip Hamilton and Carlos Boozer, ran dry in the fourth quarter. Counting on Boozer is always a dubious task, and Hamilton played more minutes than he had all year on Friday. If they get no offense from those two, it could be a long game for Chicago.

And secondly, look to see who gets the majority of center minutes for the Bulls. Omer Asik struggled to replace Joakim Noah, who to my knowledge is not expected to play. Look for Asik to get the start and for Taj Gibson to get a ton of minutes. He might be their best big left. Also, Brian Scalabrine?!?!

The Sixers, meanwhile, have to execute better on offense than they did in game 3. 79 points is not enough to feel comfortable to win with. Now, I’m out.
