New Writers and Social Media

There have been some updates. I mentioned in the mock draft post that there were two new writers on the site. If you follow us on Twitter and Like us on Facebook, then you may already know. Anyway, let’s talk about Scott Boutcher. He blogs here. Sports With Balls Blog. Check out his stuff and get excited about what he’ll be bringing to the site.

The other writer may seem familiar to you. Jason Quint. Yeah, that same Jason Quint. He wrote a few posts here in 2010. One of the things I did when I became editor is to look at all the posts written for the site. I wanted to look up each former writer just to make an All-Time Writers list for The Sixer Sense. Indeed, I got in touch with a few of them. And Jason expressed interest in coming back on bored. After I settled down from my happy dance, I resumed my search. What started as a simple mission turned into a reunion of sorts.

Jason already has a post up and Scott is working on it.

And now to the “Social Media” part of the title of the post. I’m happy to announce that the site is trying to connect with as many fans as possible. We’re on Twitter, and Facebook but you probably knew that already. More recently, we’ve expanded to Google+ and Pinterest as well. So where ever you are, we’re making it convenient for you to follow us. We thank you for your support as we continue to do what we do best: Give top quality Sixers content.
