As you know, the NBA released their schedule for the 2012-2013 season. One quick glance says there’s no back-back-back’s so there’s something. Anyway, here’s a list of games I see as key games for the season. Games may become key if it involves playoffs seeding and stuff like that. Here we go:

  • October 31st: Home/Season opener versus the Denver Nuggets
  • November 9th: Playoffs rematch with Celtics in Boston
  • November 27th: Elton Brand returns to Philly with Mavericks
  • December 1st: Playoffs rematch with Bulls in Chicago
  • December 21st: Lou Williams returns to Philly with Hawks
  • December 23rd: Sixers meet Brooklyn Nets in Brooklyn
  • February 23rd: Sixers host NBA champions Miami Heat

Sixers also will be on national TV a bit too. Here’s the schedule for each station:

ESPN: (4 games) November 7th @Hornets, December 7th vs Celtics, February 24th @Knicks, March 9th @Heat

NBA TV: November 18th vs Cavaliers, December 10th vs Pistons, March 2nd vs Warriors, March 16th vs Pacers

TNT: January 21st vs Spurs, February 28th @Bulls, March 5th vs Celtics

11 games. Not bad. Over the weekend and (more likely) next week, I’ll break down the schedule month by month doing some predictions and stuff. Here’s the whole Sixers schedule. Which game(s) are you looking forward to?
