Well it’s Sunday folks. Don’t worry I won’t get all religious on you but those Sunday’s when the Sixers started close to noon I had to run home (I drive a crappy car and may actually literally run home one day) straight from church to catch the game. I’m that dedicated…or foolish. Plus, I had to hurry up and post the Red, White, and Blue power rankings before any of those teams played a game that day. Sunday was busy. Anyhoo, my prayers must’ve been answered because the Sixers have a winning record on Sunday: 10-9. Yeah it’s only 19 games. I guess the NBA just gives way to the NFL.
Sixers had 96.9 and their opponents had 97.1. That’s a close loss. Also, the Sixers averaged that same amount when I did the numbers last year. Once again, the lockout season has barely made any changes to last year’s results. The Sixers won 4 in a row at one point. In fact, that happened in the 2010-2011 season. That season had 8 games on Sunday and the Sixers went 8-2. They had a 3 game losing streak stretching from 2010-2011 to last season.
