Who Should Start at Small Forward and Shooting Guard?

Our group of guys: Jason Richardson, Evan Turner, Dorell Wright, and Nick Young. All 3 of these guys have been consistent starters before. Well, except for Evan, but he’s a candidate with Iguodala gone. So, who would you start? I really feel like giving Turner the green light here.

Collins may use that “stretch the floor” thing and start a shooter instead of Turner. But, Iguodala started at SF alongside Jodie Meeks. Can’t Turner start with Richardson or Nick Young? Perhaps Young can be the spark off the bench? And then we would have Thad and Nick coming off the bench. The Young Shift. 2 Young for 6(ers). I’m just throwing out names that suck so we can get to the good stuff when the season starts.

And really, I’d be ok with Evan and Jason starting. Both can play SF and SG so it wouldn’t really matter who starts where. And that’s the beauty of the four players. They can really play both spots and we know how much Collins loves interchangeable parts. We could have a starting 5 of this:

Holiday

Turner

Richardson

Lavoy Allen

Bynum

I’ll have a post up going into depth for who should start at PF. I put Allen there because at this moment, I feel like he should start. It could change when the PF post goes up.

So who do you think should start?
