This is an intro of sorts to a series of posts that will preview the 2012-13 season. Included in the pack is how the Sixers stack up in the Eastern Conference, looking at the Sixers vs each division in the league, and even a roundtable featuring your beloved staff here at The Sixer Sense. It’s going to be great.
Be sure you tune in for each post as we gear up for training camp, the preseason, and of course the regular season. Check out not one, but two posts for stuff to look forward to from the Sixers and from this site. Follow us on Twitter, Facebook, Google+, and Pinterest.
Are you ready for the season? For me, it’s the first time in a long time that I have high aspirations for the team. Not that I thought they wasn’t a good team before, but now the team has a clear star. They have a built a team that is aiming for a championship, not mediocrity.
The front office is also aiming to make changes to better govern the roster and coaching decisions. That’s another thing about this team that wasn’t very strong in the past decade. Things are looking up for the team and credit has to go to the team ownership. I had my doubts but they appear to be ready to do whatever it takes to bring the city of Philadelphia a winner. And with the Eagles and Phillies not in the best position and with the Flyers not even close to action, the Sixers will be in quite the spotlight.
I’ll hold my comments for later as I said the season preview is going to be broken down into separate posts. So stay tuned because the next couple of weeks are dedicated to looking at the next season!
