When the Sixers surprised everyone with the acquisition of Andrew Bynum, they also picked up sharp shooter Jason Richardson from the Orlando Magic. Last season, Richardson averaged 11.6 PPG and shot 40% shooting from three point range, which is his speciality. Richardson has had previous playoff experience with the Golden State Warriors and has a career three point percentage of .372. While the career three point percentage seems average, Richardson is 15th on the NBA’s all time list of three pointers made. Richardson will benefit from the double teams Bynum will demand, and in return will help the entire Sixers offense by spacing the floor. Richardson is just one of the many shooters that should thrive in Philly this year.
