Philadelphia 76ers vs. Toronto Raptors Preview

Game Info: 7:00 pm ET – Air Canada Centre, Toronto, ON

Tonight, the Philadelphia 76ers take on another Atlantic division opponent in the Toronto Raptors. The Sixers have a record of 3-2 while the Raptors have a record of 1-4 on the season. This is the Sixers last game of their mini three game road trip. They are looking to go a perfect 3-0, which will give them a lot of confidence.

The Sixers leading scorer is point guard Jrue Holiday who is averaging 18.0 points per game so far this season. The Raptors leading scorer is shooting guard DeMar DeRozan who is averaging 17.0 per points per game this season. Holiday is coming off a big game for the Sixers as they defeated the Celtics last night 106-100. He had 21 points and 14 assists, his 14 assists was a career high for the young point guard.

Tonight, the Sixers catch a break as the Raptors will be without Kyle Lowry and Landry Fields. Lowry, the Philadelphia native and Villanova product has a sprained right ankle and Fields has a tender right wrist.

On the injury front for the Sixers they will be without center Andrew Bynum once again and guard Jason Richardson who is still dealing with a sprained ankle but could be back by Monday.

Finally, the Sixers and Philadelphia fans will get a look at the Raptors rookie big man Jonas Valanciunas who is averaging 8.0 points and 5.0 rebounds per game so far this season.
