Philadelphia 76ers VS Chicago Bulls: Preview

Game info: 8pm in Chicago, airing on CSN.

On Saturday night, the 76ers will look to extend their win streak to four games as they travel to Chicago to take on the Bulls.

The Bulls have been without Derrick Rose as he is still recovering from an ACL injury, but they still have many good players that are stepping up in his absence. Taj Gibson is playing very well after receiving a contract extension, Luol Deng is carrying some of the load as usual, and newly signed point guard Kirk Hinrich has provided a spark to the team.

One thing the Bulls are good at is rebounding. They out-rebounded the Mavs by 14 in their win against them the other night. Gibson, Noah, and even Carlos Boozer, who is having a disappointing season can all rebound well.

The Sixers are coming off a game against the Bobcats were Evan Turner scored a team high 25 points, and Jrue Holiday had 15 assists. This is a good sign for the Sixers as they are looking for both Jrue and Evan to improve each game and be the leaders of this team. Not to mention, that both Thad Young and Jason Richardson have been great so far this season. Thad seems to have worked on his post game and is more efficient with his running hook. Meanwhile, Richardson has been hitting clutch shots all season, and adding a vet to a young team can be extremely beneficial.

Although the Sixers season has been disappointing in terms of Andrew Bynum, it has been great to see the team still find ways to win and watch the development of Jrue Holiday and Evan Turner. They will look to win their fourth straight against a tough Bulls team on Saturday night and continue to improve.
