Philadelphia 76ers Vs Minnesota Timberwolves: Preview

Game Info: 7 pm Eastern, Wells Fargo Center. Airing on CSN.

The Minnesota Timberwolves will make their way into the Wells Fargo Center Tuesday night for a inter conference match up. Unfortunately for the Sixers, Kevin Love will be in uniform. Minnesota has not played since Friday, when they beat the Bucks 95-85. Love finished with 15 points and 14 rebounds in the win. Along with Love, four others finished in double figures. They shot 39 percent from the field and 41 percent from three, so they can beat you in many ways. Derrick Williams has provide a spark off the bench lately and can contribute from the perimeter or inside, so they need to find someone to slow him down. They must also box out well because Love and Nikola Pekovic can crash the boards hard.

The Sixers head home after a 93-88 loss in Chicago. Four player finished in double figures led by Jrue Holiday’s 23 points and 7 assists. Thaddeus Young had another impressive game with 22 points and 7 rebounds. Philadelphia shot 44 percent from the field and only turned the ball over 11 times. They were out rebounded 50-37, which could be a major concern against another good rebounding team like Minnesota. Thaddeus Young will have his hands full with Kevin Love, who is a rebounding machine but also a guy that has range and can shoot well for a big man. The backcourt duo of Holiday and Evan Turner should be able to dominate the T-Wolves backcourt with their speed and athleticism. If their can hold their own on the glass, they should be able to walk out with a victory.

Thaddeus Young will need to keep Kevin Love off the glass to keep the Sixers in this game.
