Why Jrue Holiday Deserves To Go To The All-Star Game

Wow, what a phenomenal season out of Jrue Holiday this year. It seems as though he is unstoppable. There is no doubt in my mind he deserves to go to the All-Star game, and I’ll prove to you why.

First off, Holiday is averaging 19.4 points per game, 9 assists per game, and 4.2 rebounds per game. Those stats say it all.

Now yes, sure, there has been many other players who have been playing outstanding as well, but when you analyze Holiday’s progression this season, and take that into consideration, his season has been incredible.

Holiday has had some outstanding and impressive performances, and has led the way for many of the Sixers’ victories. In fact, against the Toronto Raptors this past Friday night, Holiday racked up 5 rebounds, 14 assists, 3 steals, and 33 points.

Holiday has put the Philadelphia 76ers on his back, just like Adrian Peterson did for the Minnesota Vikings. There is no way the Sixers would be where they are now without Holiday.

What’s even better, is Holiday really loves and enjoys playing for Philadelphia. You can tell by what he tweets and what he says to reporters.

He is one of the most exciting players to watch. I have had a great time watching his growth and maturity over the years, and how much he has improved.

I know I am very, very happy Holiday signed that contract extension.
