Washington Wizards (11-32) vs. Philadelphia 76ers (18-26)

The Sixers are 3-7 in their last ten games and are hoping to turn it around tonight against a confident Wizards teams. Philadelphia’s last game resulted in a disappointing 3-point loss to the Memphis Grizzlies, after shooting 52% from the field and holding a lead for most of the contest.

Jrue Holiday is now a bona fide star for Philly, the young guard is averaging 19.4 points and 9 assists this season. In the loss against Memphis, he tallied 18 points and 10 dimes after scorching the Knicks for 35 points last Saturday. Tonight he’ll have his hands full with Washington’s dangerous back court of John Wall and Bradley Beal.

The Wizards are playing tremendously better since the return of John Wall and are playing extremely hard for a late playoff seeding. Philadelphia’s struggles continue, and they’re just doing everything to stay above water until the arrival of their center, Andrew Bynum.

Look for the Sixers to put forth a stronger effort to maintain their lead in the winding minutes of tonight’s game. Despite their horrendous 3-18 road record, the Wizards aren’t a team to sneeze at with their recent play.
