Chicago Bulls vs Philadelphia 76ers Recap

The Sixers extended their losing streak to eight games with a 93-82 loss to the Chicago Bulls. Joakim Noah led the way for the Bulls with 23 points and an absurd 21 rebounds and 11 blocks. Carlos Boozer also dominated inside with 21 points and 12 rebounds. The Bulls shot 39 percent from the field and out rebounded the Sixers 53-47. Chicago did go 3-14 from three and turn the ball over 11 times, but the inside play of Noah and Boozer made up for it. Spencer Hawes had 20 points and 15 rebounds to led the way for the Sixers in the loss. Philadelphia played a decent game, but didn’t help themselves at the line going 12 of 21 and also had 12 turnovers. One positive tonight was that there was effort and heart on the court and it seems they have responded to Coach Collins’s criticisms. This was a rematch from the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs last year, but as you could see these teams are headed in different directions. Philadelphia is now 22-34 and will host Golden State on Saturday night.
