Sixers fall in the last few seconds to the Orlando Magic. So it continues , the losing that is. Its way past time to become accustomed to losing with this Sixers squad this season. Coach Doug Collins made some roster changes giving guard Damien Wilkins his first start of the season and he showed up to play. He gave the Sixers a big jump early and did his part hitting open jumpers and finishing with 16 points. Thaddeus Young played a major role in tonight’s game as well. He contributed with a double-double scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds. He always plays with so much intensity and was really helpful in keeping the game close until the closing seconds. Jrue Holiday continued to struggle shooting 4-16 and 0-2 from the free throw line. Its not a big secret that as he goes, the team goes. I feel as though maybe he is just worn out by scoring and playing so hard early in the year and he didn’t quite understand how to pace his top tier play. The final score of the game 99-91, most of that was from Jameer Nelson who scored 24 points and dished out 10 assists. So now the Sixers look to Mondays game against the Brooklyn Nets. Sad thing is the no matter the outcome, the road game losing streak will continue and be on hold until Weds, March 20th against the Los Angeles Clippers.
