Iggy To Opt Out of Final Year of Contract with Nuggets; Sixers Return?

According to Yahoo! Sports, former Philadelphia 76er, Andre Iguodala, will opt out of the final year of his contract with the Denver Nuggets. If Iggy chose not to opt out of this final year of his contract, he would make $15.9 million. Iguodala averaged 13 PPG, 5 APG, and 5.3 RPG with Denver this past season. With the Sixers, he averaged 15.3 PPG, 4.9 APG, and 5.8 RPG.

Now, Iguodala may either sign a five-year extension with the Nuggets or a four-year deal with another team. If he does sign with another team, will that other team be the Sixers? Will he make a Philadelphia return? I would love to see Iggy in a Sixers uniform again. He would be a great leader on defense and is a pretty good shooter as well. But for now, we will just have to wait and see what decision he makes.

Ditch the extra terrestrial ET and bring back Iggy. Hell yeah! With Bynum, Thad and Jrue the team looks very promising. All we would need is the bench spark we lost when Lou left
