With the first pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, the Cleveland Cavaliers finally decided on Anthony Bennett out of UNLV.
Somewhat of a shock to most; Bennett was rumored to potentially drop all the way to No.7 for Sacramento, and possibly out of the Top 10.
Bennett’s biggest strength is his offensive versatility. He can score inside and out, and is an explosive athlete. His face-up game is impressive for a kid his age, but his shot selection seems to be suspect at times.
Nerlens Noel and Alex Len were the top candidates to be the No.1 pick. Cleveland surprised everyone by taking Bennett. Regardless, the Cavs got a stretch power forward that can score in the NBA immediately.
