NBA Draft 2013: Sacramento Kings Select Ben McLemore With No.7 Pick

Finally! Ben McLemore is headed to Sacramento to begin his NBA career.

McLemore was viewed by many, including ESPN’s Jay Bilas, as the top talent in the draft. In a weak draft, a guy that has drawn comparisons to the great Ray Allen being available at No.7 for the Kings had to be exciting.

With a flawless jump shot and freakish athleticism, McLemore is slated to be a potential All-Star.

On the defensive end, he had a tendency to get lost off the ball fighting through screens, but at times, he proved that his length can be bothersome for his opponent.

The freshman guard averaged nearly 16 points per game and 5 rebounds per game last season for the Kansas Jayhawks.
