Sixers Finally Set To Introduce Noel

Tomorrow, the Philadelphia 76ers will introduce Nerlens Noel. The press conference will take place at 1 p.m. at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. The team acquired the rights to Noel on draft night for all-star point guard Jrue Holiday. New Sixers GM Sam Hinkie will join Noel, as he is finally unveiled to the fans of Philadelphia.

Noel, who is recovering from a torn ACL, is expected to join the team sometime around Christmas. He is considered to be the center-piece of the rebuilding Sixers, and is expected to be one of their best players right away. In his first and only season at Kentucky, Noel averaged 10.5 points to go along with 9.5 rebounds, and 4.4 blocks. Those numbers alone instantly show how much potential he has in the NBA. Noel was the consensus first overall pick before he suffered the injury, and is set to silence his doubters. Though it was previously reported that he would wear number 5, he will actually wear number 4. Noel has made it known that he has a chip on his shoulder, and his motivation is great sign for Sixers fans.
