Spencer Hawes Scores 58 Points (NO LIE)

Just watch, then watch again. I keep watching it to make sure it’s real, by god it is. I had to slap myself a few times to make sure that I’m not dreaming too. Aside from the draft picks, there hasn’t been much info on how the players still left on the Sixers are doing this off-season. Apparently Spencer Hawes has gone completely insane (or Bynum). 58 points is Hawesome, but you couldn’t score another bucket Spence!?

In a Seattle  Jamal Crawford Pro-Am game, Spencer scored 58 points and collected 17 rebounds. I can’t believe a guy on the Sixers actually knows how to rebound first of all. Spencer went 19/30 from the field and 18/22 (WHAT?!) from the free throw line. He now has the highest scoring mark by an NBA player this summer. I think those 22 free throw attempts is more than the Sixers had all of last season. I wonder what Doug Collins thinks of this video, what do you guys think?

I’m not sure if Spencer went off the deep end, or he has been fueled by the Nerlens Noel acquisition, or he just went off the deep end. Like come on, the guy brings the ball up the floor, crosses like three guys over and hits a three, WHAT IS THIS? Maybe he’s trying to do his best Damien Wilkins impression of last season and ruin Tankadelphia.

Check out this tweet by Evan Turner about the game:

I don’t know, but I feel like Hinkie is up to something with this. Even though there’s almost no way Hinkie can be involved, I feel like that man has a hand in EVERYTHING. Don’t you guys feel that way too? Look’s like Spencer’s trade value is gonna sky rocket after this one, 1st round pick for Hawes anyone!? Enjoy this one folks, enjoy it! This performance by Spencer will definitely make Brett Brown accept that coaching offer.
