According to multiple sources, UDFA G Khalif Wyatt out of Temple, has signed with the Philadelphia 76ers with a multi-year deal.

Okay, I’m done sounding like a newspaper. YES! I thought this move was inevitable and one the Sixers had to make. It just made sense in so many ways. Even though Wyatt went undrafted, his talent is undeniable. This move also makes sense, because Wyatt is a SHOOTING guard, since the Sixers seemed to be signing many point guards.

About a month ago, I wrote this piece on Mr. Wyatt and why he could be the next Lou Williams for the Sixers. If you read that piece, you’ll understand why I’m so excited about this signing. Khalif actually responded to the article, by saying:

Wyatt can ball. No denying that. We’ve seen him go toe-to-toe with #2 pick Victor Oladipo and almost out perform him on a big stage. Khalif Wyatt isn’t scared of the lights and the NBA won’t be any different. I’m expecting a lot from him and I’m sure he is expecting the same, if not more.

Finally a move I”m excited about. Thank you Sixers. Wyatt may not produce many wins this year (isn’t that what we want), but he sure as hell will be fun to watch. Another hometown baller in the nest, woohoo! Go Sixers!
