One of the newest members of the 2013 Philadelphia 76ers is Rodney Williams, an undrafted forward out of Minnesota. Williams signed a partially guaranteed, multiyear deal with the team after playing his college hoops under Tubby Smith.

Williams could spend some of the 2013-2014 season with the team’s Development League affiliate, the Deleware 87ers. In his final season with the Gophers, he averaged 10.1 points and five rebounds before averaging eight points and 1.2 rebounds for the Sixers’ Orlando Pro Summer League team.

Athleticism is the name of the game for this rookie forward. Known as a high-flyer during his time at Minnesota, Williams will be another athletic body that head coach Brett Brown will look to develop into a more polished, skilled basketball player over time.
