Heading into the Philadelphia 76ers preseason, many were concerned with Michael Carter-Williams and his major turnover problems, but so far, things are looking bright and he is proving us wrong.

So far this preseason, Carter-Williams has just one turnover. Yep, that’s right, just one. Not only that, but he also has 16 assists. That’s a 16-to-1 assist turnover ratio. Now that is impressive.

MCW said,

“Coach wants us to play real fast and I think you are balancing playing really fast and under control. I am trying to play as fast as I can and under control at the same time. There is a lot thrown at me. I had a few turnovers in college and I am trying to get better each and every day, and in practice I have had a few turnovers. I am working on trying to take care of the ball and make smart plays.”

Sixers head coach Brett Brown said,

“It’s a great sign. Especially when you don’t have anybody talking to him about it.”
