Philadelphia 76ers Vs. Brooklyn Nets Preview

Tonight, the Philadelphia 76ers take on the Brooklyn Nets. The Sixers come into this one on a 6 game losing streak, while the Nets have won 3 of their last 4. Both teams have been incredibly disappointing, but this game will actually be a good match-up. The Nets have much more star power than the Sixers, but have not been able to put wins together so far this season.

Tony Wroten has been killing for the Sixers of late and he has gotten the support from head coach Brett Brown. Brown recently said that he wants to pair Wroten in the back-court with Michael Carter-Williams. Wroten is now averaging 13 points a game and is making a difference for the Sixers. Evan Turner and Thad Young will look to keep things rolling tonight, but the hope is that they will not let the recent trade rumors get to them, and affect their play.

Surprisingly, Brook Lopez leads the way for the Nets scoring wise with 20 points per game. The Nets brought in Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Jason Terry this off-season, and none of lived up to their hype. The three players combined are only averaging only 22 points per game. Their struggles are the reason the Nets have been so bad this year, and it appears that none of them are the players that they once were.

The 76ers could easily steal this game in Brookyln. They are 10 point underdogs, but I see them coming out with the win. My final score prediction is 92-86 Sixers. Evan Turner will once again lead the Sixers in scoring, and Tony Wroten will likely make a major impact once again.
