According to Jake Fischer of LibertyBallers.com, Thaddeus Young has submitted a formal trade request with the Philadelphia 76ers.

Per, the article from Liberty Ballers, Young and his agent (Jim Tanner) submitted the request weeks ago. The source said:

“Thad is ready to leave Philly, he isn’t with the whole tanking thing.” The source said. “Playing for the Sixers is wasting a year of Thad’s career.”

No surprise with the Sixers at 7-19, last in the Atlantic Division.

Thaddeus Young is a great player and we all know he deserves better than whats going on in Philadelphia right now. He should be traded and hopefully the return is acceptable. Thad is averaging 15.8 PPG and 6.6 RPG this season. He’s the oldest tenured player on the Sixers, however, it seems this may be coming to an end. If this is the end of his tenure with the Sixers, he’s been a great one. I doubt anyone will have anything bad to say about him. We love you Thad, thank you for everything.
