How was everyone’s Christmas?

For this weeks TBT, I wanted to do something special, being the day after Christmas and what not.

What’s more special than Doctor J? Not much. Julius Erving represented Philadelphia before Allen Iverson was even born. He was the main reason the Sixers became such a prominent team in the ’80s.

In 11 seasons with the Sixers, Dr. J averaged 22 points, 6.7 boards and 3.9 assists. He made the Allstar from every season from 1977-1987.

Most importantly, Doctor J brought an elusive championship to Philadelphia in 1983. The greatness of Dr. J cannot be denied and I don’t need to sit here and spit out a bunch of statistics to prove his worth. While you are all recovering from a food coma, sit back and watch this highlight reel of the great Julius Erving. Happy Throwback Thursday folks!
