Postgame: Sixers End 13-game Road Losing Skid With Win Over Lakers

Yes, that’s right folks. The Philadelphia 76ers actually won a road game, snapping their 13-game road losing streak.

This was a close, back-and-forth battle until the final minutes of the game when the Sixers pulled away with the 111-104 victory.

Thaddeus Young had yet another outstanding performance, finishing with 25 points and 9 rebounds. Evan Turner posted 22 points, 6 assists, and 7 rebounds. Spencer Hawes scored 19 points, dished out 5 assists, and grabbed 8 boards. Michael Carter-Williams added in 13 points, and James Anderson chipped in 11.

The Sixers dominated in fast break points (18-8) and points in the paint (52-28). The Sixers also finished with 13 steals.

The Sixers now stand with a 9-21 record, 2-13 on the road.

Next up for the Sixers is another away game on Wednesday, against the 14-15 Denver Nuggets.
