TRADE RUMORS WHAT?
Thaddeus Young has been tearing it up recently, shoving all of those trade rumors into another stratosphere. Or maybe not.
I mean, we can say that Young was upset by all the rumors (that he denied) and decided to take to the court to get rid of his aggression.
But maybe, just maybe..
Young does want to get traded (I believe this and don’t see a reason not too) and is taking to the court to prove to OTHER teams how valuable he can be. I mean, we all know how valuable Thad is and I’m sure other teams do too, but nothing like showing out on the court to prove this even more. This is just my opinion, but maybe Thad is on a mission to get traded and has promised to do as much as he can on the court until this happens. Whatever it is, I’m enjoying watching him have the success we all know he is capable of.
In the past four games, Thad has deposited scores of 25, 30, 30 and 25, good for 27.5 in those past four games. He also is averaging 8.75 boards in his past four games, plus 2.5 steals and 2.5 assists. Let me also bring up that Young is 11-17 from deep his past four games, which is good for an astounding 65 PERCENT FROM DEEP.
He’s shooting 43.3 percent from deep this season, which is a big screw you too Doug Collins huh? Thaddeus Young only took 12 three-pointers the past two seasons and 72 three-pointers in the past three seasons combined. This season, he’s already took 60 three-points and made 26 of them. Brett Brown has given the ability for Young to roam and he’s taken full advantage of this.
I talked with Thaddeus Young’s trainer this off-season and he told me that Young had the complete green light this season. I have to agree and Young is taking advantage of this green light to the fullest extent.
So, 27.5 PPG, 8.75 RPG, 2.5 APG and 2.5 SPG in his past four contests. That’s a stat line that is highly motivated by some reason.
This is all speculation, I mean Thad Young is one of those players that gives his all on the court, no matter what the score dictates. Regardless of the fact, I love Thad Young and will continue to root for him, no matter what jersey he dons.
I hope Hinkie trades him soon however, Thad Young could really make a difference on a contending team that is a piece or two away from a championship. His season stats of 17.6 points and 6.9 rebounds are nothing to sneeze at.
Hats off to Thaddeus Young for competing every night when he could just give up. You’re the ultimate professional.
