Well, now we finally have an answer for the mystery that is Aquille Carr.
Carr hasn’t appeared in a game since December 15th and he only played eight minutes in that game. On the season, Carr was averaging 10.7 PPG. I had noticed from watching games that Aquille Carr was absent from the bench. The 87ers announced that he was simply inactive, but there seemed to be something else going on.
Today, that question was answered.
The #Sevens released Aquille Carr.

Per Ryan Messick, who does play-by-play for the 87ers, the 87ers have released Aquille Carr.
I’m not sure what the fallout was, but Carr was barely playing at all. Even though he proved he could score points in bunches. This is a sad story, Carr is an electric player that was a fun prospect to watch.
