Erie BayHawks Defeat Delaware 87ers 109-102


Welp, no surprise here; the Delaware 87ers lose another one. The Erie BayHawks took on the 87ers inside the Bob Carpenter Center Friday night, and the 87ers fell to the BayHawks by a final score of 109-102.

Once again, the 87ers were in this game, but always fall short as their opponent always pulls away in the final minutes of the game.

Delaware shot just 42 % from the field, while Erie shot 50 %.

For the BayHawks, Scott Suggs finished with 28 points on 11/21 shooting from the field and Ricky Davis posted 24.

For the 87ers, Lorenzo Brown had yet another phenomenal performance, finishing with 21 points, 8 assists, and 8 rebounds. Matt Bouldin had 16 points and Ben Strong scored 15 points and grabbed 8 boards.

The 87ers now drop to 3-13 with the loss, while the BayHawks improve to 2-11.

Although the 87ers are having a really struggling season, this team has truly been fun to watch and follow.

Next up, the 87ers will take on the Reno Bighorns Sunday at 5:30 PM ET inside the Reno Events Center.
