Tony Wroten & Michael Carter-Williams are “Anti-Tanking”

Well, before we dive into these tweets from Tony Wroten and Michael Carter-Williams, I’d love to first bring up this tweet from MCW posted two nights ago.

Now, I’m not sure if these are song lyrics or whatever, but this gave me a chuckle. MCW doesn’t strike me as a guy that would say something like this, but what would I know! Gotta love the rookie.

Okay, so here comes the fun stuff. After the Sixers win on January 2nd against the Nuggets, Michael Carter-Williams and Tony Wroten took to Twitter to discuss “tanking”.

Wroten and MCW literally posted these tweets at the same time at two in the morning. As I was scrolling down my timeline after that win against the Nuggets, I saw these tweets back to back and I have to admit, it gave me quite the laugh. You have to love that these players are making fun of the whole tanking idea.

Obviously they listen to whats going on in the outside world. They know everyone thinks their tanking, so this was a funny way to come back at everybody. I’m sure after now still being undefeated in the new year with a victory over the Kings last night, the Sixers will never lose another game.
