Pregame: Sixers vs Pistons

Let me tell you something, I am actually excited for this game.

Unfortunately, it has nothing to do with the Sixers. I’m pretty obsessed with the Pistons, or Andre Drummond. I’m excited to watch Andre Drummond this whole game. The Pistons in general have a pretty interesting makeup with Drummond, Monroe, [Josh] Smith and Brandon Jennings.

I know everyone will be upset to hear about this, but the Sixers will be without their “post-player”

Oh what a loss. What will the Sixers do without their “post-player”?

For anyone that’s interested, here are the probable starters:

PROBABLE STARTERS

SIXERS (12-23)

12 Evan Turner F 6-7 19.1 ppg. 6.4 rpg.

21 Thaddeus Young F 6-8 17.8 ppg. 6.8 rpg.

00 Spencer Hawes C 7-1 14.2 ppg 8.6 rpg.

31  Hollis Thompson G 6-8 5.8 ppg. 3.6 rpg.

1 Michael Carter-Williams G 6-6 17.7 ppg. 2.67 spg.

PISTONS (14-22)

6 Josh Smith F 6-9 15.1 ppg. 6.8 rpg.

10 Greg Monroe F 6-11 14.6 ppg. 8.9 rpg.

0  Andrew Drummond C 6-11 12.8 ppg. 12.7 rpg.

5 Kentavious Caldwell-Pope G 6-5 7.1 ppg. 2.1 rpg.

7 Brandon Jennings  G 6-1 16.8 ppg. 8.3 apg.

Thanks to Keith Pompey of Philly.com for that, so I didn’t have to type it out myself. You are the man Keith.

I expect Drummond and Monroe to plaster the Sixers tonight, especially since Brett Brown said that Spencer Hawes is going to be the “enforcer” tonight. Uh, okay Brett, whatever you say.

There is some actual good news on the Sixers side of the ball. Tony Wroten WILL BE ON THE COURT TONIGHT. So, there will actually be something worth watching tonight!
Don’t be surprised with a Sixers loss, embrace it. Embrace the tank, damnit.
