The battle of two pre-season tank-stars battle tonight; however only one has lived up to its reputation.

The Sixers take on the Charlotte Bobcats tonight at Wells Fargo Center at 7:00 p.m. ET. The Bobcats have won their last game 105-88 with Michael Kidd-Carter-Williams-Gilchrist being out of the game.

Coming into the season, most thought the Bobcats would be in the running to make a run at the number one (or at least a top 5) pick in this years loaded NBA draft. But with a top rated defense, the Bobcats look to be playoff-hopeful contenders. They are currently 9th in the East. However, the Bobcats lost a key player in Jeff Taylor due to an Achilles injury and will miss the remainder of the season. They also received good news the other day in that Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is back from a fractured hand injury. He did not face the Sixers back in the December match-up.

The Sixers will be without Arnett Moultrie (no surprise there, but he is close according to sources) and Lavoy Allen (strained right calf) due to their injuries. However, Philly will be graced with the presence of Lorenzo Brown (called up from the 87ers) and DeWayne Dedmon (!) due to his recent 10-day contract with the Sixers.  Dedmon should see time tonight with a very thin frontcourt. Dedmon is a player with a whole lot of potential that needs a chance; and he’s landed in a great spot in Philadelphia.

Streaking Players:

According to sources, Brandon Davies was caught streaking throughout Philly last night down Broad Street…
