League sources are confirming that the Sixers will sign DeWayne Dedmon to a second 10-day contract.
Dedmon has averaged 3.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 14.8 minutes per game with the Sixers. He has appeared in five games. His energy on the defensive side of the ball is undeniable and he definitely appears like an upgrade over Daniel Orton, who is now playing with the Maine Red Claws of the NBA Development League. It wouldn’t surprise me if the Sixers decided to sign Dedmon for the rest of the season, barring anything crazy happening.
