Carmelo Anthony went off to set a new franchise record for the New York Knicks.

Rumors:

Beno Udrih wants out of New York.

Rajon Rondo. So, there were some recent trade rumors. The Celtics say they are not true. And, in what is almost a slap in the face to those rumors, there are reports that the Celtics and Rondo are actually talking about a contract extension.

Danny Granger could be on the move, if only for cap space.

The Wizards want Marcin Gortat for the long haul. They want to extend his contract or at least re-sign him when the season is over.

The Magic apparently can’t get rid of Glen Davis, mainly because of his off the court antics and nobody else wants any of the action unless the Magic also give up a young piece.

Have mercy, the Omer Asik rumors are back on for a moment. Mainly, the Celtics are showing interest again.

The Bulls and Nets made a deal.

Off the court:

Is Lance Stephenson a flopper? Well, the NBA thinks so and they have fined him $5,000 for what is his second violation.

The All-Star game starters are decided!

Injury report:

Jeff Teague sprained his ankle.

Another Hawk, Pero Antic, is out 2-4 weeks with a stress fracture.

Danilo Gallinari is out for the rest of the season as he finally has surgery on his torn ACL.

Darren Collison has a sprained toe.

Could Steve Nash see the court on Tuesday? That’s the plan.

Meanwhile, Xavier Henry suffered a setback and is out for another 10-14 days.

Rudy Gay suffered an Achilles injury.
