I still remember watching this game.

I was a sophomore in high school and remember being at my girlfriend’s house at the time (oh high school love). When this shot went in, I probably cried like a little girl. I was one of those young impressionable Sixers fans, who thought the Sixers had a shot to go all the way. I’ve since grown a lot smarter, obviously.

The Sixers still had their old-school jerseys on in this one. The Sixers would take a 2-1 lead in the series, but eventually fall to the NBA Finals bound Orlando Magic.

Here we are in 2014 and Thaddeus Young is still making plays like this. Please, don’t trade him. Let him build with us. But, if you do trade him — get something good.
