NBA News From FanSided: NBA trade deadline recap

As you may know, the Sixers were very active during the trade deadline, with most of the details and trades being announced shortly after the trade deadline of 3pm ET. Well, with so many reports and picks and all kinds of HINKIE, as well as the rest of the league getting some stuff done, let’s do a recap of the events. The dust has settled. Time to take a look.

I’ll be covering Wednesday’s deals too. Also, I will attempt to link the trade to both (or more than two) team sites so you can get a look at the particular trade from each team’s point of view. Again, I’m inside the FanSided circle, so if a site didn’t cover it, then too bad.

By the way, The Sixer Sense has a recap of the Sixers’ trades on Thursday and you can check that out here.

The first deal is between the Brooklyn Nets and Sacramento Kings. The Nets gave up Jason Terry and Reggie Evans and got Marcus Thornton in return.

Kings: A Royal Pain

Next, we have the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors. The Lakers gave Steve Blake for Warriors’ Kent Bazemore and Marshon Brooks.

Warriors: Blue Man Hoop

Then the Kings were at it again. The Miami Heat traded Roger Mason Jr. to the Kings for a pick. It appears that Mason will be waived.

Heat: All U Can Heat

The Los Angeles Clippers made a deal with the Atlanta Hawks. They traded Antwan Jamison to the Hawks.

Hawks: Soaring Down South

Clippers: Fully Clips

The Clippers also traded Byron Mullen and a second round pick to the Sixers for a second round pick.

The San Antonio Spurs and Toronto Raptors did a little dance. Simply, the Spurs send Nando De Colo and the Raptors send Austin Daye.

Raptors: Raptor Rapture

The Denver Nuggets traded forward Jordan Hamilton to the Houston Rockets for guard Aaron Brooks.

Rockets: Space City Scoop

Nuggets: Nugg Love

The 76ers traded center Spencer Hawes to the Cleveland Cavaliers for forward Earl Clark, center Henry Sims and two second-round picks.

Cavaliers: Right Down Euclid

The Milwaukee Bucks traded guards Gary Neal and Luke Ridnour to the Charlotte Bobcats for guard Ramon Sessions and forward Jeff Adrien.

Bucks: Behind the Buck Pass

The Indiana Pacers traded forward Danny Granger to the 76ers for guard Evan Turner and forward Lavoy Allen.

Lastly, a sexy threesome. The Nuggets traded point guard Andre Miller to the Washington Wizards in a three-team trade. The Wizards sent forward Jan Vesely to the Nuggets and point guard Eric Maynor and two second-round picks to the Sixers.

Wizards: Wiz of Awes

Nuggets: Nugg Love

There! You’re all caught up. So, hit the comments on thoughts on any of these moves. Nothing major really went down (excluding the Sixers).
