VIDEO: Andrew Wiggins 41-Point Performance Gives Sixers Hope

Listen, we are in the midst of a 16 game losing streak and no one has seen a Sixers victory since January — that’s terrible. So, I’m here to bring some sort of GOOD news to the public. That news? Andrew Wiggins of course. This Saturday, the standout freshman went OFF for 41 points in a loss (!) to West Virginia. As we all know, Wiggins is the coveted prize in the 2014 NBA Draft Class that the Sixers are dropping game after game for. Don’t worry everyone, Andrew Wiggins WILL be a Philadelphia 76er when we land the first overall selection that we have a 19.9 percent chance of obtaining (per

Andrew Wiggins is averaging 16.8 points and 5.9 rebounds per game. His stats aren’t screaming anything out right now, but the slow pace of college basketball leads to less possessions and less scoring opportunities for players. Also, anyone that has watched Kansas a number of times this season is aware that the offense is NOT ran through Andrew Wiggins by any means. The potential of Wiggins is so obvious, that the Sixers have to take him if they receieve the first overall pick. If they don’t, let’s pray that someone takes Parker or Embiid. I wouldn’t mind landing Parker, but Wiggins is the real gold here. Oh yeah, Andrew Wiggins was just named the Big 12 Freshman of the Year too.

The Sixers are just three games back of passing Milwaukee as the worst team in the NBA. Record wise that is, because the Sixers are clearly one of the worst teams to have ever been put on an NBA floor.
