The 76ers take on a streaking Knicks to snap their franchise record 22-game losing streak.

What to Watch For:

  • New York as actually looked good of late. They are riding a seven game win streak that actually has them right in the thick of the playoff hunt, just three games behind Atlanta for the eighth spot.
  • For a team that doesn’t have a pick in this June’s super draft, they might as well take a crack at the Playoffs. A recent six point in against the conference leading Indiana Pacers can only help their confidence.
  • The Kicks are also on a high from the hiring of Phil Jackson to their front office. A lot of the players may be realizing they maybe playing for a job. Either way I feel this team will be “inspired” from this point on.
  • 76ers are planted firmly on the struggle bus. If this team hopes to avoid the longest losing streak in NBA history, breaking New York’s seven game winning streak maybe a must. The Knicks are one of two sub .500 winning percentage teams the Sixers will face before encountering the record.
