Philadelphia 76ers Daily Links: April 3rd, 2014

Hello everyone! Here we sit, one day away from “4-4-14″. Why is this important, you say? Well, it’s the only thing that Philadelphia has to look forward too regarding the Sixers..come on Nerlens! What will happen? No one really knows. I’m guessing he doesn’t play. There haven’t been any reports about Nerlens Noel even practicing in a five-on-five yet, which would need to happen before he appears in a game. Don’t rule out a return sometime this season, it doesn’t have to be on Friday. However, the season is coming to a close quick so something needs to happen soon!

Here are some links floating around the internet about our favorite team from Philadelphia, enjoy!

Here we have the ESPN.com Front Office rankings, which includes the Sixers at 24th. I’m not sure how they have the Bobcats, Hawks, Jazz and Nuggets ahead of the Sixers, but it’s ESPN, what do you expect?

Wouldn’t it almost be fantastic if the Sixers went 0-82 and were guarenteed the worst record in the NBA with the best chance for Andrew Wiggins? The guys over at SBNation.com made this come true.

The streak is over! Marc Narducci and Keith Pompey of Philly.com get together and discuss their joy over the end of the 26 game losing streak.

Speaking of 4-4-14, RealGM reports that Nerlens Noel isn’t likely to play until summer league..interesting. These quotes come from Philly.com in the article, but I don’t think it means he won’t play until summer league. What do you guys think?

Apparently, the Sixers coaching staff asked Michael Carter-Williams to keep a poster with each name and face of NBA referee’s. Well, alrighty then. [Bleacher Report]

Jabari Parker MIGHT be headed back to school, but nothing is final. Parker and other possible draftee’s have until April 27th to declare for the draft, however, they lose their college eligibility after April 15th. So, set April 15th as judgement day. This could seriously swing the draft order — come out Jabari!

Here we have some crazy, circus shot from Michael Carter-Wililams. With the way he’s been shooting lately, he might need to hit more of these.

Well, that’s all for now! Did you enjoy these links? Let me know and this can become a daily thing. Can you believe the season is almost over and it’s time to get ready for the draft? Here at The Sixer Sense we are more than ready for this. Go Sixers!
