VIDEO: Jabari Parker Talks NBA Draft, Says He Will Decide Next Week

Duke standout freshman, Jabari Parker, appeared on Sports Nation of ESPN2 to discuss his NBA Draft status. Parker also denied that he has secured housing on campus for his sophomore season [Original Report].However, Parker did say that he expects to make his decision on the draft on this Tuesday or Wednesday, so be prepared.

Parker is a major domino that needs to fall in the 2014 NBA Draft, as the Sixers look to secure one of the possible franchise changing players in Jabari Parker or Andrew Wiggins — Wiggins has already declared for the draft. Reports have been surfacing ever since Duke lost to Mercer in the first-round of the NCAA Tournament about Parker’s willingness to stay at Duke for his sophomore season. Reasons range from the loss to Mercer to being able to play with his good friend and stud recruit, Jahlil Okafor. No doubt that if Jabari Parker stays at Duke, the Blue Devils will be the favorites to win the NCAA Tournament next season. But, Philadelphia would rather play it safe and have Parker come out for the draft, right guys?
