Philadelphia 76ers to Appear in Vegas and Orlando Summer Leagues

This has been rumored for some time, but it was finally announced that the Philadelphia 76ers will be participating in both the Las Vegas and Orlando Summer League experiences. More experience for the rookies, yay! Last year in the Orlando Summer League is where Michael Carter-Williams and Victor Oladipo began their infamous rivalry as rookies. What Sixers rookies will clash with some of the top names in the NBA Draft this season?

The Sixers are one of three teams participating in both the Vegas and Orlando Summer Leagues. The other teams are the Houston Rockets and Miami Heat.

The Las Vegas Summer League runs from July 11th to July 21st at the Thomas and Mack Center and COX Pavillion on the campus of the University of Nevada Las Vegas. The Orlando Summer League runs from July 5-11 and is not open to the public.

Both leagues will be view-able on NBATV and rosters are expected to be announced before the end of June.

Who will be the Sixers Summer League star? Nerlens Noel? Possibly Andrew Wiggins, or Jabari Parker? Less than a month until the draft!
