With the NBA Draft about four days away, the rumor mill is filling up faster than a lunch break at McDonald’s. There was a rumor released that the Sixers and Lakers were discussing a trade that would send Michael Carter-Williams and Thaddeus Young to the Lakers for the No. 7 pick and Steve Nash. While this would give the Sixers three lottery picks in the NBA Draft on Thursday, most people agree that it’s a one sided deal.
Also rumors of any sort of MCW deal to Lakers – I've heard aren't accurate – but then lots of lies this time of year

The 76ers would be giving up two of their best trade assets while receiving a $9 million Steve Nash and the pick. While the pick is nice, it’s not worth giving up Michael Carter-Williams. The reigning Rookie of the Year isn’t perfect, but it’s hard to believe that the Sixers would give up on him this early. Carter-Williams looks to team up with Nerlens Noel next season for a fantastic combination — at least thats what fans of the team are hoping. Isn’t it a little early for the Sixers to be getting rid of MCW? No one knows what that No. 7 pick will produce and no one wants a Steve Nash whose best days are behind him.
Let’s hope this rumor is put to rest for good.
