NBA Draft: 76ers In "Full Court Press" With Cavs For Andrew Wiggins

It’s now been reported that the 76ers are making a “full court press” to the Cleveland Cavaliers for the No. 1 pick in order to obtain Andrew Wiggins, the freshman from Kansas in the NBA Draft.

What exactly is a full court press you ask? Well, it can only be a few things..

If the Sixers are trying to pull out all the stops for Wiggins, it looks like it will include Thaddeus Young, No. 3 and the No 10 selection in tonight’s draft. Is that a lot to give up? At this point, it seems so. However, if Andrew Wiggins turns out to become the 76ers franchise savior, no one is going to give a DAMN about Thaddeus Young and that 10th pick. Not to mention, the 76ers don’t have any more valuable assets than No. 3, No. 10 and Thad Young. There’s those second-round picks, which could be used, but those are the main assets. Anything else is just sweetening the pot.

Let’s be real, we’ve all wanted Andrew Wiggins since we knew the Sixers would be god awful this season. He’s been our prized possession and we’re at the point where tonight we will know if the dream will come true. I don’t care what the Sixers have to give up, get this guy in a damn Sixers jersey.

The Cavaliers could be sending out more smokescreens as they have been all week. To be honest, the Cavs are terrified of drafting No. 1 and having another royal mess up like the selection of Anthony Bennett last drat. Cleveland might really want Embiid, but too scared to take him with the first pick. Well, the Sixers won’t be afraid to pull the trigger for Andrew Wiggins at No. 1.

Let’s get it done fellas. Andrew Wiggins to Philadelphia.
