Joel Embiid is Recruiting LeBron James to Philadelphia

Joel Embiid has been a member of the Philadelphia 76ers for about a week now and he’s already trying to lure the biggest catch in free agency to Philadelphia. Who can blame him though?

I’m not sure if Embiid and James have any sort of relationship or have ever talked before, but this is comical at the least. Joel Embiid most likely will miss all of next season recovering from his foot injury, so that doesn’t sound too enticing to LeBron James. I mean, the 76ers do have the cap room for James, but it’s a shot in the dark to even imagine the King coming to Philadelphia.

At least Embiid is embracing being apart of the 76ers, even if he will be watching from the bench this season. His Twitter will probably gives us some highlights throughout the year and Embiid didn’t waste any time getting that started. Since he won’t be playing with the team this season, maybe he can play a role as a scout for the Sixers this season? Coming from Cameroon, Embiid must be privy to some talent overseas.

In all reality, everyone just wants to see Embiid on the court. Get healthy!
