Nerlens Noel’s debut performance of 19 points was everything that 76ers fans could have hoped for. After waiting an excruciating season to see the No. 6 overall pick of the 2013 NBA Draft play, Philadelphia saw what they we’re waiting for. Nerlens Noel looked sharp, but more importantly, he looked healthy.
Noel sat out the 76ers second game in the Orlando Pro Summer League for precautionary reasons, but he was ready to go last night against Houston. He didn’t drop 19 points, but he was still affecting the game on virtually every possession. The flattop menace finished the game with eight points, six rebounds, one assist, two steals and three blocks. He continues to stuff the stat sheet in a every way possible. Watching this kid grow up this season is going to be special.
