As we all know, Michael Carter-Williams was the Rookie of the Year and won the award in runaway fashion. Victor Oladipo was the only competition and he wasn’t coming close to Michael’s statistics.

In 70 games, MCW averaged 16.7 points, 6.3 assists, 6.2 rebounds, and 1.9 steals per game. His shooting may not have been efficient, but he showed flashes of brilliance in other places. MCW won Rookie of the Month four times and was even voted Player of the Week once, which is a distinction that rarely goes to rookies. With all of this being said, let’s recap some of his top plays from his rookie season.
