WATCH: 76ers Nerlens Noel Summer League Block Party

Hey, did you know that the Philadelphia 76ers had THE WORST defense in the NBA last season? Giving up 109.9 — basically 110 — points per game to defenses will typically give you a tepid defense. Also, the Sixers were 25th in the NBA with 330 blocks, averaging 4.0 per game. This isn’t a secret, but the addition of Nerlens Noel is going to boost those numbers in a major way. Nerlens Noel averaged 4.4 blocks per game during his 24 games at the University of Kentucky, meaning he could produce alone what the 76ers as a team produced in a season.

Yeah, this kid is going to be a major problem. As every minute moves us closer to opening night, I get more and more excited for this kid. Excuse all the content about him on the site, but what else do we have right now? Anyways, Nerlens Noel had his first NBA action in Summer League and was swatting EVERYTHING that came near him. Bored? Well, you don’t need to be for this. But, even if you are, just hit the play button and watch Noel’s block massacre from Summer League 2014.
